GLENDALE, Ariz. — Phil Kessel and Taylor Hall each had two goals and an assist for the Arizona Coyotes in a 6-3 win against the San Jose Sharks at Gila River Arena on Tuesday.
Conor Garland had a goal and two assists for the Coyotes (26-18-5), who were 0-2-1 in their previous three games.
Adin Hill made 25 saves for Arizona, which has a five-game point streak at home (4-0-1).
Evander Kane and Kevin Labanc each had a goal and an assist for the Sharks (21-23-4), who lost for the first time in three games. Aaron Dell made 34 saves.
Hall put Arizona up 3-2 at 17:14 of the second period when he deflected Jordan Oesterle‘s shot from between the circles.
Lawson Crouse made it 4-2 at 8:09 of the third when he scored his 11th goal, tying his NHL career high.
Kane cut it to 4-3 with a power-play goal at 17:51 before Garland scored into an empty net for a 5-3 lead at 18:20.
Hall scored his second of the night into an empty net with 22 seconds left for the 6-3 final. It was his fourth goal in five games.
Kessel scored to give Arizona a 1-0 lead at 12:03 of the first after Derek Stepan forced a turnover in the neutral zone and passed ahead to him.
Kessel, left open in the left face-off circle, scored on the power play for a 2-0 lead at 5:01 of the second.
Labanc beat Coyotes forward Brad Richardson to a loose puck in the crease and lifted it over Hill’s pad to make it 2-1 at 6:42.
Patrick Marleau pulled up at the blue line and found Timo Meier cutting to the net for a shot that tied it 2-2 at 9:55.
Richardson did not play in the third period because of a lower-body injury.
